Who
we are?

The Institute for Research Analysis and Dialogue (IRAD) is a Baidoa-based, Independent non-profit think tank committed to conducting interdisciplinary research, policy analysis, and fostering inclusive dialogue with the aim of promoting citizen-centric participatory governance.

IRAD actively facilitates and promotes interaction among stakeholders through diverse platforms, including dialogue forums, workshops, community meetings, conferences, and public hearings. These engagements are strategically designed to shape policies and programs collaboratively, enhancing transparency, and accountability, promoting inclusive development, and ultimately fostering public trust.

Operating at the local, regional, and federal levels, our institute aims to empower decision-makers with invaluable insights to make informed and impactful choices. We bridge the gap between research and practical application, strengthening policies and initiatives that contribute to the sustainable progress of southwest Somalia and the broader East Africa region. Our focus on citizenry generates a profound understanding of local needs, contributing to informed decision-making and the overall advancement of the community.

Our team is dedicated to fostering social unity, collective responsibility, and consensus decision-making. We cultivate relationships to inspire innovative solutions to complex challenges, aiming to create a more cohesive and empowered society. With a wide network of key actors across sectors, our center is well-positioned to facilitate diplomacy and communication, promoting consensus among key parties and contributing to lasting positive change in the region.
